Finding God in the Winter Seasons
We all experience seasons we'd rather avoid. Whether it's uncertainty, grief, waiting, or simply feeling overwhelmed, it's easy to want the season to end. In this personal reflection, I share how God has been teaching me to stop striving, embrace the pause, and discover that healing isn't found in controlling life's outcomes, but in learning to trust Him.
When Labels Become Identities
Diagnoses, personality types and archetypes can help us understand ourselves but what happens when they become our identity? This thought-provoking article explores Carl Jung's archetypes through a Christian lens, reflecting on why Jesus used parables and metaphors to reveal the heart.
Did They Hear David's Heart?
What if we've been reading the Psalms without fully hearing David's heart? Language carries more than words it carries culture, emotion and lived experience.
I Wish I Could Breathe
I am in a season. A long one. A season where, despite having the tools and understanding of healing, I found myself sitting in the hardest place I have known. This is the story of what happens when we stop fighting our body’s responses and begin to listen, allowing healing to unfold moment by moment.
The Search Beneath the Search: The Human Longing for God
Beneath our striving, worrying, achieving, and searching is a deeper longing. Carl Jung observed the human search for wholeness, but Scripture reveals why that longing exists: we were created in God's image, made to seek Him, and designed for connection with our Creator.
Unlocking the Power of SELF COMPASSION IN CHRIST
Shame is one of the lowest energies we can experience. If we do not equip ourselves to be kinder to ourselves, to forgive ourselves, and to accept ourselves as Christ does, we will remain stuck in that state. The Bible reminds us repeatedly that we cannot do it without Him. So why do we continue to try and earn what He has already given us through His sacrifice?
Becoming Like a Child: The Somatic Wisdom of Scripture
Before beliefs, before structure, before the world layered over us its conditions, expectations, and fears we were born into this world with breath. The very breath God gave humanity. In that first inhale, there was no striving or confusion. We were simply being, unguarded and whole, made in His image.
The Cost of Isolation: Supporting Connection esp with Young Autistic Males
Children may lose the ability to engage, not just with the outside world but even within their own homes. Over time, this impacts their ability to develop empathy, form connections, and regulate emotions.
When What We Think We Know, We Don’t Know
Sometimes the things we believe most deeply are the very things we have never paused to question. Healing invites us into a deeper awareness to gently explore our beliefs, perceptions, and the stories we have carried, creating space for new understanding, compassion, and growth.
The Burden of Hidden Sin
Hidden burdens have a way of shaping our lives in silence. Whether carried through shame, guilt or fear, what remains hidden can affect our emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing.
DO IT ! - Do what matters
We often wait until we feel ready before taking action. But growth happens when we choose courage over comfort. Discover how small, intentional steps can reshape your life from the inside out.
Why Everything Feels Like a Threat: Understanding Trauma and the Nervous System
For people who have experienced trauma or abuse, this state of heightened alertness can become their baseline, amplifying their perception of threat to the point of distorting reality.
The Power of Intention in Healing: A Deeper Look at Medication and Supplements
intention plays a powerful role. When we communicate in advance to our cells what we expect and hope for, we enhance the healing process. Our body recognises and utilises the support we’re offering more effectively when there’s a clear intention behind it. Without that awareness, healing can still happen, but it might take longer.
Embracing Healing Through Faith: The RAIN Method and King David’s Journey
Through this exploration of the RAIN method, I hope to break down each aspect to help people gain a deeper understanding of this practice that can aid in trauma and emotional healing. My goal is to present it through a Christian lens, demonstrating how these timeless principles align with our faith.
Have you tried yoga? A somatic & spiritual journey
Yoga, I believe, is an incredible way to create a space between therapy sessions, a place to check in with yourself, to come home to your body, and to reconnect with your own needs and emotions. Looking back, I wish I had made this a priority earlier, especially in the early days of motherhood when it would have helped me stay grounded.

"Shifting My View of the Cross: Embracing Christ’s Love as a Gift, Not a Standard"
Instead of viewing Christ's work as merely a sacrifice to be endured or a standard to be constantly aspired to, we might reframe it as a generous gift that reveals the depth of divine love and acceptance. This reframing can shift our focus from striving to earn worthiness to embracing the transformative power of what has already been given.
Normalise our experiences, the power of the Cross
It is vital to integrate our faith into this journey of self-awareness and self-compassion. The act of Christ bearing our sins was the ultimate demonstration of love and sacrifice. He took on our burdens so that we might find freedom and healing.
MANIFESTING - IS IT NEW OR OLD
In today's culture, the concept of "manifestation" is prevalent. It is often associated with setting intentions and focusing one's energy on achieving goals, whether in business or personal growth. While some view this as a secular or new-age idea, it holds deep roots in biblical principles that Christians can embrace to align their lives with God's will and purpose.
Your Going To Be Okay
This has been an enormous learning curve for us. We've also learned that we can't always behave as we do without facing consequences or loss. However, we've gained insights and growth through these challenges, finding our authentic selves. When we stop masking and trying to fit in, the self-harming stops.
